Absolute Advantage Membership Terms and Conditions

Absolute Advantage Membership: Please note, the Absolute Advantage Membership may be referred to as Membership throughout this page.

Welcome to the family! This page outlines the terms and conditions that apply to the Absolute Advantage Membership. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before subscribing to our service. Subscription to the Membership constitute acceptance of the following.

1. Subscription

By subscribing to our Membership, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined herein. Subscribers must be at least 18 years old. The Membership is non-transferable and requires a minimum 12-month subscription period for redemption of benefits.

When does the Membership start and how long is it?

Your Membership begins on the day you make your first Membership payment and continues until it is cancelled. The subscription will automatically renew each month. The Complimentary Camera Inspection, Annual Service and Plumbing Safety Inspection listed below are scheduled every 12 months on an active subscription.

2. Inclusions

Who is eligible for this Membership?

An owner of a residential property with an address within our service area that is registered with Canada Post. A Membership only applies to a single address. If you have multiple properties or locations - one Membership per address is required, this applies for suites and/or coach houses as well.

Who is not eligible for this Membership?

  • Recreational vehicles or homes intended to be moved
  • If you have an oil system, you will not be eligible
  • Tenant/renter of any rental property
  • Commercial, industrial, or retail locations

What is included in this Membership?

Only the Annual Service is multiplied by the number of eligible heating equipment in your home, all other inclusions only apply once. For the service component of your Membership (heating maintenance, plumbing inspection, and camera inspection) - the service will be scheduled and completed every 12 months. Please see the Membership inclusions below:

Priority Service

We prioritize scheduling for members, subject to availability during regular business hours. Due to unpredictable schedule demands, we do not guarantee same-day, next-day, or emergency service. This Membership does not guarantee a specific arrival time from when the service call is placed. After-hour and emergency surcharge rates are still applicable for members.

10% Off Repairs

Enjoy a 10% discount on the cost of repairs (before tax) for repairs that come up during our maintenance visit or during any other visit. The 10% discount cannot be extended to dispatch fees, diagnosis fees, maintenance service, or new installations. This discount strictly applies to repairs only, as determined by Absolute Plumbing Solutions. The 10% discount cannot be applied with other discounts, coupons, or promotions. If a 10% repair discount has been applied to your invoice, no other discount or reduction may be applied.

5-Year Warranty on New Fixtures

We are proud to offer an extra-long 5-Year Warranty for any fixture that we supply and install. This warranty is applicable for the duration of your Membership. Our extended 5-Year Warranty is for new installations only (cannot be backdated or transferred) and requires an active Membership. Should you cancel your Membership, only our standard warranty will apply. Eligible fixtures: toilets, faucets, sinks, garburators, shower heads. Any fixtures not listed are not eligible for a 5-Year Warranty. Regular wear and tear and cracks or physical damage caused by misuse, abuse and/or tampering is not covered under any warranty provided by Absolute Plumbing Solutions. Please see our Absolute General Limited Warranty Details for a full list of warranty exclusions.

Complimentary Camera Inspection

It is our pleasure to include a completely complimentary camera inspection (up to 60 ft) for your main sanitary line. This is $339 value offered complimentary as part of your Membership. Please note, an existing and easily accessible clean-out is required to perform the camera inspection. Should a clean-out installation be required, additional charges will apply. If you do not wish to install a clean-out, we cannot perform the camera inspection. No credit or substitions will apply.

Annual Service

Full annual inspection of your gas fireplace(s), water heater, furnace or boiler. Includes a visual inspection of all components that are accessible without taking the unit apart, a tune-up, and adjustments to the equipment for optimum performance. If your units require advanced cleaning, diagnosis, and/or repairs - additional charges will apply.

Plumbing Safety Inspection

As part of your Membership, you will receive a total home Plumbing Safety Inspection and a report with our findings. Upon request, we will send you an estimate if repairs or improvement recommendations come up. This is $99 value offered complimentary as part of your Membership.

What are the Membership Exclusions?

  • Additional work not specified, diagnosis fees, dispatch fees, and after-hour or emergency surcharges are not covered
  • Cost of repairs, installations, and other maintenance not specified are not covered
  • Camera Inspection, Annual Service, and Plumbing Safety Inspection must be scheduled on the same appointment. Dispatch fees apply for additional if these services are booked separately

3. Scheduling

Upon subscription, our team will contact you to schedule your first appointment within our regular business hours. We provide a three-hour arrival window for appointments. We do not accept date requests, appointments dates are determined by Absolute Plumbing Solutions.

Services are performed during our regular business hours listed below:

  • Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Services are not available during evenings, weekends, or Statutory Holidays. Service during these times are subject to surcharges.

4. Payment

Membership fees are due monthly. A valid credit card is required to sign up and maintain the Membership. Failed payments may be subject to administrative fees and a suspended Membership.

Membership billing cycles are grouped into batches determined by the date of your first payment. For example: payments made between the 1st and 5th of the month will be billed on the 5th of each subsequent month. See the billing date ranges below:

  • Days 1 to 5 are billed on the 5th
  • Days 6 to 10 are billed on the 10th
  • Days 11 to 15 are billed on the 15th
  • Days 16 to 20 are billed on the 20th
  • Days 21 to 25 are billed on the 25th
  • Days 26 to 31 are billed on the 31st (or the last day of the month)

Copies of invoices are not automatically generated or sent by our system. Contact us to request copies of Membership invoices.

5. Service Area

The Absolute Advantage Membership is currently available in the following areas: Delta, Richmond, Surrey, White Rock, Vancouver, and Burnaby.

6. Liability

We take every precaution to ensure that our services are performed safely and professionally. However, we cannot be held responsible for any damages, losses, or injuries that may result from our services. By subscribing to our service, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any and all claims arising from our services.

7. Termination

Members may cancel with 30 days' written notice. We will contact you to confirm the cancellation. Cancellations within 24 hours of the Start Date will receive a full refund of the membership dues less the cost of any work performed by Absolute Plumbing Solutions. Cancellations past 24 hours from the Start Date will not receive any refund or credit.

Absolute Plumbing Solutions reserves the right to terminate subscriptions with notice, no refunds or credit will be provided for such cancellations.

8. Code of Conduct

We uphold cordial relationships and do not tolerate abusive or harassing behavior. We reserve the right to decline service or revoke Membership for such behavior.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We may modify these terms at any time, with notification provided via email or our website. Continued use of the service after modifications to terms and conditions constitute acceptance.
